WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Christopher Kay, Anavasi is an inspiring and cinematic documentary film exploring life's often unanswerable questions through stories of trauma, deprogramming, the collective unconscious and the higher self.
As human beings, we often find ourselves exploring life's unanswered questions.

In the past few years, this has never been more apparent. Through tumultuous times in the 'war' waged on the human spirit, an awakening has been occurring simultaneously, with more and more people questioning the illusory prison in which we live and breathe. With this questioning comes an exploration of the soul, the divine spark and higher states of consciousness, enroute to a mass deprogramming and unplugging from the lives that have enslaved us for eons.

It's time to break the cycle, stand up and ask some pertinent questions, and this unique documentary experience acts as an exploratory guide, putting a spotlight on the questions;
'Who are we?'
'What are we experiencing?'
'Where do we go from here?'

THE CONTENT
Anavasi weaves a beautiful and unique blend of styles and genres.

Part documentary and part narrative, a series of stories serve as the backbone of the entire film. The themes of these set pieces are then elaborated on by renowned interviewees in their respective fields through their own unique experiences.

This diverse array of interviewees includes scientists, authors, celebrities, trauma counsellors, teachers, shamans, holistic health practitioners, lecturers, and indigenous leaders and elders.

This rich tapestry of perspectives offers a comprehensive exploration of the subject matter, bringing together voices across various disciplines and traditions to provide a multifaceted understanding of the human condition, the soul and how to navigate an "awakening"

It is not a documentary to provide concrete answers or push any agenda... it is to expand the mind and consciousness, to help reconnect the audience with their higher self, and to remind them of a more beautiful existence.

“Examination of the world without, is never as personally painful as examination of the world within”

CHRISTOPHER KAY
DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / CREATOR OF 'ANAVASI'

From a very young age, I wanted to tell stories. After years of studying film, I worked across several mediums from short films, TV and feature film. Unfulfilled with the lack of inspiration in the industry, I navigated that world, still passionate about filmmaking and wanting to make films of the purest truth... but in 2020, the world changed forever.

What then followed was what I could only refer to as a 'collective awakening', where slowly many realised that for years they have been a product of marketing, brainwashed programming, lowering the vibration of the collective unconscious, and disconnection from our higher selves. Having been a student of philosophy and through a constant thread of esoteric experiences throughout my life, I knew my passion for storytelling and my want to understand a higher purpose would perfectly marry together.

Anavasi delves deeply into the very questions we are all being forced to examine with profoundly brilliant minds, and I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
